<p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><strong>Nasty Beatmakers</strong>, consisting of brothers DJ Nasty, and LVM have made quite a name for themselves! Amongst all their accolades, they brought back a Grammy plaque back to Orlando! Get to know the Nasty Beatmakers: <span> </span></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: Were you born in Cuba or the U.S.?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>Cuba. We came to the U.S. in 1978. Our father was in the navy and wanted a change in scenery.</em></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: Who is the little brother?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>I Am</em><br />
<span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: Are you married or single?</span><br />
Both: <em>in a relationship</em> </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: Any kids?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>I have a 4 year old.</em><br />
LVM: <em>I have a 7 year old boy.</em><br />
<span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: When was your first production?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>I did a record on my own for Krayzie Bone called “Thug Love.” It was done on an MPC 60, but the real official record that The Nasty Beatmakers did was for Fat Joe –on the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Jealous Ones Envy </span>album called <span> </span>‘Wildlife’ feat Xzibit – that was our first major breakthrough</em><br />
<span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: How did you get hooked up with that?</span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">DJ Nasty: </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><em>We knew Fat Joe for a minute. DJ <span> </span>Khaled started bonding with Joe in Miami and I sent Khaled a beat to play for Joe and it was on and poppin’ since then.<span style="color: #ff0000;"><br />
</span></em><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: If you had to give credit to one person for where you’re at now who would it be?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>GOD!<span> </span>And myself for hard work and dedication .</em><br />
<span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: What has been your biggest accomplishment to date?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>The Grammy. Winning the Grammy – I don’t think it gets any bigger than that! (LVM<span> </span>agrees</em>)<br />
<span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: If you could go back in time what is one thing that you would have  done different?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: </span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><em>Be more vocal! I’m kind of a laid back quiet dude.<br />
</em><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: What advice would you give to up and coming producers and artists?</span><br />
LVM:<span> </span><em>Establish relationships and keep them. If you meet somebody and it didn’t pan out right there, it may later, so be sure not to burn any bridges.</em></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">DJ Nasty: <em>Be into your craft and try to be original. Do something that stands out, go hard and keep in tune with what’s out there, be original.</em> </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: What’s the first thing you look for when an artist gives you a CD?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><em>His flow, his originality, its got to sound good, if it doesn’t sound right it’s a bad impression.<br />
</em><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: What is in your CD deck in your car?</span><br />
DJ Nasty:<span> </span><em>Snoop Dogg’s 1st album, and Kane West’ new album.</em> </span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">LVM: <em>Kanye, and the the Ludacris album that got us the Grammy, I like to always remind myself of that.</em><br />
<span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: Who are your 3 favorite artists in the game right now?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>T.I., Ludacris, &amp; Lil Wayne</em>. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">LVM: Ludacris, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z<br />
<span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: DO you think that Orlando will ever be seen as a music Mecca like Georgia and now Miami?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>Yeah I think it will get there eventually. There’s alt of talent out here but we all got to bond together – we can’t be so separated</em>. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri; color: #ff0000;">PCM: Who do you think are the top 5 power players in Orlando right now?</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">DJ Nasty: – <em>The Runners, Nasty Beatmakers, Prostyle, Dawgmann, &amp; Frontline promotions.</em></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: What is the biggest misconception that people have about you?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: <em>A lot of people like just as of the last 2 years think that I don’t give them a fair shot of getting them radio play or getting them out here. I don’t want people to think that I’m the only outlet. If you’re</em> <em>an artist- go hard! I always use Treal as an example because they are the last group out of Orlando who started on the streets and just got signed. They started at the club and then the radio and became a big huge smash</em></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri; color: #ff0000;">PCM: Do you think vinyl is still important?</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">DJ Nasty: <em>I hate to answer that because I grew up on vinyl but the game has changed! I get all my new music on CD’s and mp3s. Serrato changed the game! </em></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri; color: #ff0000;">PCM: What do you think is the best digital service to get yourself exposure on the net?</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">DJ Nasty: <em>Digiwaxx, and new music server</em></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">PCM: Should we be surprised if we hear about you in Superhead’s next book?</span><br />
DJ Nasty: (laughs) – <em>Na -I don’t even get down like that.</em><span> </span></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">LVM:<span> </span><em>Na</em></span></span></p>

DJ Nasty: <em>I never eat breakfast</em></span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">LVM: <em>Toast w cinnamon sugar, remember that?</em></span></span></p>

Shout outs to The Runners, and Khaled! – We got the game on smash right now! <span> </span>It’s looking real good and you can thank Orlando for it, believe that! </em></span></span></p>
