The deal was bridged by Toronto-based media/entertainment company Deevel Promotions, spearheaded by Mark Berry and his longterm international affiliation with Universal Music worldwide. “Recognizing Kevin’s social reception, this naturally was the next route to take, and I’m thrilled to help any of our clients take that next step up.”

The album contains 14 songs, 8 of which were penned by Kevin Chase himself. “I am extremely excited to be working with AGR to introduce my music to new audiences,” says Chase. “We have had a lot of great international feedback to the new album through the internet, but now we can reach people on a much larger scale.” Kevin Chase is no stranger to working hard to bring his music to the people, having performed at many prestigious festivals and clubs, making national TV appearances, releasing two critically acclaimed albums, receiving award nominations and two Top 40 hits, all in his native Canada. “I can’t wait to be touring in Europe and to meet many of the fans that have contacted me online and a whole pile of new ones. Connecting with the fans is what it is all about for me, so I will keep my suitcases ready to go,” he elaborates with his signature smile.

An introductory first single “Outta Sight Outta Mind” will be sent in advance to country radio stations in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Austria, The Netherlands and England by the end of April. The album “Hold On Tight” will available in stores and for download in the second half year 2011 and will eventually be released to all 39 countries covered by this deal.

“Hold On Tight” is a re-branding of Chase’s latest album, previously known as “Round 3”. “The label felt that the old title may be confusing to the people in Europe and the Middle East,” explains Chase. “My first 2 albums did not get released over there, so we want to start fresh. It’s actually kind of cool to be able to completely re-do all of your artwork. The label wants a premium package for their customers, so we will be adding additional content.”

Chase is currently preparing to shoot his first video for album release. “The concept is coming together nicely,” says Kevin. “There are a few more location details to be ironed out and then we are ready to go. It will be a blast.”

Canadian Country fans will be able to see Kevin Chase live at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival on July 8th with Johnny Reid, Ricky Skaggs and Australia’s Jetty Road.

Yakira Fernandez is a Dominican-American born singer/performer.  Yakira’s name is of Hebrew origin meaning costly and precious.   Her heart-stopping performances and vocal strength will captivate and command your attention.

Born in the Bronx, New York and raised there until she was about 14. In 1994 with her family moved to Orlando, FL where she still resides today. Growing up, her parents continued to speak and teach their children Spanish as a child and throughout her teenage years, so being fluent, – you can hear the distinctness and beauty within her Songs.

As a teenager, her passion grew and she began to craft her talent and  beauty in every opportunity she sought after, being inspired by other artist like Selena, La India and Brenda k. Star etc… giving bilingual performances within her acts.

Yakira, performed in many high school talent shows, and local radio performances 95.3FM growing and demonstrating her skillful and dynamic dancing and singing capabilities.  She even spent some time working for the Walt Disney World Company and Universal Studios in the entertainment department.

Being a bit tomboyish, transcended to brand and influence the brash and no nonsense attitude she acquired from hanging with the fellas, her dancing style and street image began to morph who she is on the inside, carameled with touches of other influences such as Mary J. Blige, Sade, Mariah Carey dancing and choreography moves like Paula Abdul, or Janet     Jackson with a even pop and break-dancing feel.

After graduating she continued to participate in numerous events and shows for free and less than nothing, the following years only proved she has what it takes to capture the attention of audiences everywhere she went and that she will keep on until she succeeds.

In 2007, she decided to take her passion and start a career as an Artist; she enrolled into Full Sail University, to obtain Bachelors in  Entertainment Business and a Minor in Recording Arts.  She and a few of her friends started working on her first Underground album.   She and  La Nina, who is featured and co-wrote three of the songs on her first underground PROMO album, – “Watching you, Watching Me,” “Hot,” and “All Eyes on Me.”  This album has compilations of Hip Hop, Pop, and Latino laced vocals whic has this album in an uproar of excitement from her friends, other students, and sparked the attention of local bar and club owners, and even other artists that noticed, she was beginning to take her work serious and made audiences take note of who she was!   She was not going to stop and her potential is potent!

She created a MY SPACE Webpage and in less than one month she had over 3,000 hits to her site.  Before she even released the album a friend of the family took the music to a local Florida High School and played it for the students, they loved it and wanted to know when the CD would be released.
