had no where to live the only place a kid on the street cuold make money is in front of clubs sellin shit inside dj-ing or breakdancing and i just naturally was ill..

Im from Kings county Brooklyn, NY, im currently in Hollywood on set to be in a new movie the Fan -Attick

I had to go where the milk and honey iz, and tinsle town is that place,

What would you say are a few of the most important lessons you have learned about the industry?

The game is built on relationships so its how u treat people and do business that takes u to the next level,

Many people look at bumps in the road and setbacks as detrimental issues. How do you / have you dealt with roadblocks?

Play hand ball on em! turn a negative to a positive , dot dwell on the past its over live in the now and the future will fall in lace cuz the future is always now..

How did you come up with the name “The Big Heist?”

becouse thats what has happen to our culture ,our authenticity of hip hop has been put out like a whore and fuckd over and over, and im stealing the game back bringin u real musik with out lying to the fan this is me and my life..

I fuckin’ love it.

How would you compare this project to others that you have done in the past?

I payed my own money for it so I guess I cared more I was apart of the process from the root  to the tooter..

Who would you say the Big Heist appeals to the most?

Real hip hop heads but their is something for everyone , there is the grimy, gritty, peaceful dope lyrical and just mainly spitting hard,

How did you get that name?
My first name is Lozell.  I was going by Zel back in the day.  I called myself Minister Zelakhan in a cypher in reference to Louis Farrakhan and everybody in the room went crazy.  People been calling me Zelakhan since then.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Spending 2 months in Staten Island, NY with 4th Disciple and Wu-Tang Clan. 4th invited me to come stay with him in Park Hill a while back.  I’ve opened up for almost every major artist that performed in Cleveland but this was the biggest of my accomplishments because I recorded in my first multi-million dollar studio for the first time.  I was learning the ins and outs of the industry first hand.
What has been your most difficult challenge?: Coming from a forgotten market such as Cleveland, Ohio.  We don’t get the exposure like the other markets get.  Labels and scouts don’t come to Cleveland looking for artist.

What makes you different?
I think the passion I express makes me different from alot of artist today.  Alot of this new music is watered down and recycled.

What projects are you working on?
Working on an album with Phoenix Jones called G.O.D. (Grind Or Die)…Also working on a solo mixtape called Money & Muscle Vol. 2 with DJ Jack Da Rippa….Also working on my solo Debut called Carpe’ Diem.  All these projects will have production from Yonny, LT Moe, 4th Disciple, Kickdrums, Matlock, Lord Jazz and Mauly T
